How it works:

Welcome to Strawberry Moon Blooms!

Join us in 2027 for picking flowers (and maybe some veggies, too!)

  • Pick a date: U-Pick dates will be announced via email and on socials. We’ll announce a few days ahead and if bad weather pops up, a rain date will be scheduled.

  • CHECK-IN: Choose a vessel size for flowers. You’ll decide once you get here how much you want to pick. Pick a little or pick a lot, it’s up to you and no pressure to decide in advance. Choose the cutest metal tin pitcher for flower picking as the premium option (and most popular) or the standard plastic cup.

  • CHECK OUT: Weigh veggies at checkout. If veggies are ready for picking, weigh them and pay for both flowers and veggies at checkout with one purchase.

Take a walk with me…

You arrive at the farm just as the evening sun starts painting everything golden. Birds are chattering high in the trees, tiny native bees are already nestling into the cosmos to sleep, and the fields are singing with the beginnings of cricket song. There’s a cute tin pitcher in one hand, snips in the other, and a familiar face walking beside you — maybe your best friend, your sister, or your curious toddler with muddy knees.

You wander through rows of blooming things — frilly cosmos, armloads of waving dahlias, fat cheerful zinnias the size of tea saucers. You stop to smell them (obviously), but mostly you just breathe. Slower than usual.

You snip a little here, a little there. Then find a good spot to sip on something fizzy. You laugh. You admire your bouquet. You forget what time it is.

This is what a visit to Strawberry Moon Blooms is like.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • U-Pick events require a ticket purchased from our website. These are not sold anywhere else.

    Spring U-Pick tickets are sold in advance by vessel size and do not require a parking pass.

    July-September, purchase your parking pass in our online Shop. Decide once you get here how much you want to pick that day.

    Picks will be announced here, via email, and on our social media for dates July -September. Simply check for a date and purchase the parking pass.

  • Not much!

    How to Dress: Plan for warm weather (sunscreen, bugspray, hat, comfy shoes). Check your weather app and email before you come though, because if we get a bad storm we’ll reschedule the pick for another day.

    We provide the picking container. You are welcome to bring your own container to transfer your blooms to once you get back to your vehicle.

    We have cutting shears for you to borrow at check-in, but you are welcome to bring your own if you have a favorite pair. We are not responsible for any personal items left behind in the field.

  • July-September, yes! We are still slowly adding Spring U-Picks to our farm, but summer is full to bursting with blooms and veggies.

  • Nope. Registered service animals only.

  • If your chair or stroller can manage through grass, Plots 2 and 3 are very accessible. There are no paved or level pathways on the farm. There are several places that are sloped. Plot 1 is terraced due to the rock shelf that runs through the middle.

  • We now have a portable outdoor restroom for all u-pick events.
